This serial is a beautiful love story. The story revolves around a lovely pair Gauri and Shiv. Gauri's father is a man who believes in traditional system and he is proud of his culture and language. He never likes immigration and hates the youngsters who immigrate to various places. Even though Gauri does not like this mentality of him, she never argues. To his dismay, Gauri falls in love with a man named Shiv who is a young man and comes to Mumbai for work and he is native of Beneras. The rest of the story is about their love and life. Gauri’s father even though reluctant at the beginning, accepts Shiv for sake of Gauri. The soap is a beautiful one with marvelous locations. This serial is shot mostly in Beneras and it shows the localities of the city and it is a treat to watch.
